The Lava Dome from Kona Bikes is basically that mate who’s always up for anything — a bit of trail riding in the Forest of Dean, a quick blast around town, or sneaking off onto some cheeky singletrack after work.
It’s got a simple 9-speed setup with a clutch rear mech, so it stays calm when the ground gets rough and chattery. Nothing too fancy or fussy, just dependable. The internal cable routing keeps things tidy, and the frame’s happy running chunky 2.6" tyres if you want extra grip for muddy climbs or rooty descents.
Wheel sizes change depending on frame size too, so it feels right whether you’re on a smaller XS or a bigger XL — handy if you’re trying to get the fit spot on rather than just “making it work.”
It’s the kind of bike you could easily picture rolling out of Dean Forest Cycles on a sunny day, heading straight into the woods without overthinking it. Simple, solid, and ready for pretty much whatever the Forest throws at it.

If you'd prefer your bike delivered, we'll carefully box it up and send it to you. Please note that delivery charges apply due to the size and weight of bikes.
